-My Canon Rebel T2i shoots in MOV format. I imported it into AE CS4 but then i realized that format doesnt work in it. So i converted the video to AVI and when i imported it into Cs4 it played but the template where you're supposed to see the video is all black. No visual. What should i do? If yu need more info, tell me and ill add it, thanks.Canon EOS 550D / T2i, the latest DSLR to offer HD video recording by Canon, is perfect for capturing clips or sequences which a consumer camcorder would otherwise find difficult or impossible. The T2i allows you to film at either 1920脳1080, 1280脳720 or 640脳480 pixels with 30fps, 25fps, and 24fps. Video is an absolute highlight of the EOS 550D / T2i and it鈥檚 wonderful to have this degree of control in a camera. All of these are great, till you find it is a problem importing the Canon EOS 550D / T2i MOV footages to Adobe After Effects CS4 for editing. Even the h.264 mov video could be successfully loaded to Adobe After Effects CS4, the film will looks quite jumpy. For H.264 MOV from Canon EOS 550D/T2i is a long GOP format that is highly compressed. So you need to transcode the video to Avid Media Composer suitable MOV. And you can follow this guide:http://www.mvi-converter.com/convert-can鈥?/a>
download this codec and install it then it should work for all programs
