How to install Mac Os Leapard?

-i'm having an issue here with my imac g4. It won't boot anymore and it gets stuck at the apple logo just loading for days. I have a snow leapard install disk, but what do i do to get it to boot the disk or my flash drive. what do i press any ideas. ?hi TxAxYxLx..., place your windows diskett that came with your computer it should be mac then reboot when you see your windows logo start tapping f12 from there boot from usb cdrom or just cdrom then begin to tapping any key until your scan begin then stop tapping and let the scan complete successfully. now hit install when you come to product key you will find it on the box that your windows came in with your computer when you come to your petitions hit advance then delete that petition and hit next and it will automaticly install windows mac. when that is complete then remove that diskett and go ahead and install your OS leapard the same way as we did your system disket and install it the same as you did mac the only thing is that you do not delete your petition just format it and install leapard for your operating system. but now when leapard is install you will still install the mac diskett to place your drivers and everything is cool. good luck hope i was helpful to you
Just bought a used G5 so I am new to Macs. I can not install Snow Leopard on mine and you definetly can not insall it on a G4. The newest I can use is Leopard 10.5. I think it is the same for you. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
