Where is the minecraft file to play from?

-so i downloaded minecraft beta from cnet beacause it was free, but when it came up right after it loaded, it said user not premium. so i looked around for free premium accounts, but when i wanted to load it up again, i couldnt find it. i looked in all programs, i searched it and only found .minecraft under AppData Roaming. all .minecraft had in it was options and resources. so where is it? im on a laptop, so if i cant play, i at least need to know where it is so i can uninstall it and not use up my hard drive. i really need help!It doesn't install, that thing you downloaded from Cnet was the Launcher/Updater. Just click on the thing you downloaded to open the game again. You won't be able to play it without a Premium account unless you get a pirated launcher, although you won't be able to go online.
