Whats wrong with my computer, very sluggish, is it time for a new one?

-i have an hp dv6000 (933cl model) since November of 2008, and its been repaired about 13 times but its been fine for about 6 months. lately its been running constantly hot from boot up to shutdown the fans are roaring. I have used compressed air, checked for dust (found none), checked for viruses, checked for bios updates etc. nothing worked, and the preformance is insanely sluggish, like a click on a simple link on facebook to somebodys wall will freeze the entire system, and forget trying to open an application, its never been like this. I put in a memory card in the slot and it kind of melted it, one of the usb ports only sometimes works. and did i also mention this thing is BURNING HOT and again i used 4 different virus cleaners (Norton, Macafe,AVG, and Security Essentials, all come up clean, as well as norton security essentials to clean registry and disks) . what is wrong? is it dying? in 3 years with lots of matinence doesnt it seem unlikely? Hp support is no help either

Heres the specs

Windows 7

Intel 2GHz Core 2 Duo processor with 2MB L2 Cache

4gb of DDR2 Memory

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100

320 GB (5400 rpm) hard drive

and no i dont watch po*n either :pIt may be "dying" but I guess you haven't tried the following:

Disk defrag - The file system may be messed up

Running Chkdsk - There may be an error in disk C:\ or other

Uninstalling obsolete softwares - Hey dude what do you do with 4 AV's - It may be dangerous

Eusing Registry Cleaner - Use it carefully - BETA software

Try updating your drivers

Cleaning the CPU fan and motherboard

Additional info: Start>Run> Type "chkdsk" "Disk Drive letter" "/f"

Keep up with "and no i dont watch po*n either :p"It shouldn't be slow or overheat, even if it is 3 years old it still has fairly good specs. Have you tried a full reinstall of Windows? You may just have way too much running at once and it's bogging it down.
Yeah, I'd upgrade everything.

The processor would bottleneck your computer the most with its 2MB of Cache and being a core 2.
Use Ccleaner to remove junk from your system

And run a scan of Malwarebytes

Sounds like a hardware problem is causing excessive heat. You need to have someone find and fix the problem, or get a new PC.
How many fans are there and how many of them are working? Fix the one(s) that are not working.
It is time for a new computer.
