PowerDVD stopped playing certain DVD's; how can I fix this?

-When watching a movie (e.g. Spider-man 2) on my laptop (which has Windows 7), PowerDVD froze for no apparent reason. So, I pressed control-alt-delete, pulled up the task manager, and closed out the program. Now, it won't play that particular dvd at all (it will play other movies, but not that one--I should also mention that Spider-man 2 will play in my regular dvd player, so I don't think the disc is damaged).Hi..

I have not got Power DVD but it sounds to me that a cache/last play point has been saved and this is corrupt..

Look at the setting your player has and select not to play/resume from the last play point..

You may also find options to clear the cache of stored info..

Will do a quick google look.

Yes there is a cache.

Will be in you appdata folder in your main user folder , you will need to show hidden folders to get to it ..

Ccleaner may remove the contents if you do not want a manual search..
