-I'm thinking about buying a Macbook Air (which doesn't have a cd drive). And I think that if I get Microsoft Office for Mac I would get a cd, which I can't put into the Air. And this would be my only mac so I'm not sure if the wireless use the drive from another computer thing for the Air will work... So would I be able to buy Microsoft Office for Mac on the Mac App Store??

Even if it's not available through the App Store, all you have to do is buy it, then download the free trial and enter your serial number to activate it.
