Does Windows Anytime Upgrade work on Windows 7 Starter?

-Okay, here's my problem: Somehow, my laptop ended up with Windows 7 Starter instead of Windows 7 or Windows Vista or even Windows XP. Thus, next to none of my video games or programs work on it and even certain normal options are not available. So I chanced upon this Windows Anytime Upgrade thing one day while online and it looks like it might work.

I found it on my computer, but now I have another problem - I lost the serial number/activation key/or-whatever-you-call-it that comes with my version of windows. It is authentic, but went missing since I've had this laptop for a while now and even moved houses. Is there any way to go around this? Can I download a keygene to get it to work or something? What can I do?No problem with the product key. You can press the WinLogo+Pause/Break keys to find your product key. You can even run Magical Jellybean KeyFinder to list your other product keys.

And yes, the Anytime Upgrade works on Windows 7 Starter too.

By the way, didn't your laptop come with a sticker at the bottom containing the Windows 7 product key?You should look at the bottom of your laptop for the serial key you need, if it got rubbed, then indeed you can use any special utility for that. But I'd warn you against using keygen, because they can accidentally overwrite your license information.
